Hot Tubs Go Mobile, too!

We speak on mobile phones. We work on mobile computers. We watch mobile TVs. So it should come as no surprise to see hot tubs take to the road, even in some of the most remote corners of the world. This is a photo of the hot tub built by Tyler Johnson on an Alaska mountain-climbing, downhill skiing event in 2005 (specifically for post-climbing beer parties). The hot tub is pulled along on a utility trailer. The water is heated by a portable wood stove. The people are eager to warm up after a day in the frigid air. Our portable computers and mobile phones have been shrinking from one year to the next, and now could easily be brought with climbers up the mountain. No word yet on whether there are plans to shrink the portable hot tub so that it can be carried up to the summit. We speak on mobile phones. We work on mobile computers. We watch mobile TVs. So it should come as no surprise to see hot tubs take to the road, even in some of the most remote corners of the world.
