A GFCI 110 VAC outlet that has a cover to protect it from the weather is needed to be located within 10 feet of the hot tub. The ChlorMaker DO will generate chlorine for spas and hot tubs that hold up to 3785 litres (1000 gallons) of water at a production rate of 30 grams of chlorine per day. The ChlorMaker control panel is designed so that it can be mounted to the skirt of the spa or hot tub. Three buttons make it very easy to adjust the chlorine or bromine production. The ChlorMaker runs on three-hour cycles and makes chlorine during each cycle. Extra chlorine additions are not needed for routine maintenance. The ChlorMaker has a mode called “boost” that increases chlorine production after the spa has been used to keep the water at its cleanest.
